Make requests easy to describe
An installation enquiry should help visitors explain the setup without needing specialist vocabulary. Start with the service, suburb or postcode and a preferred contact method. Include a “not sure” option for equipment and wall details.
Useful installation questions
- What service would you like help with?
- What is the TV model or screen size? Is it already mounted?
- Do you have a bracket, and do you know its model?
- What is the wall made from, if known?
- Which devices, cables and power points are already present?
- Which suburb is the installation in?
Ask relevant follow-up questions progressively rather than requiring every visitor to complete a long checklist. These details help assess the request; they do not confirm compatibility, price or an appointment.
Photos and privacy
Where a photo option is provided, explain what is useful: a wider view of the wall, the current setup or an equipment label. Provide a text alternative. Avoid unnecessary images of people, documents or unrelated personal information.
Collect only the information needed to respond. Clearly explain its use, provide privacy information and make submission success or failure understandable.
Accessible contact paths
Use clear labels, readable instructions and helpful errors. Keep published contact options available alongside the enquiry form. Do not imply that a booking, quotation or live response has been confirmed until it actually has.
