# Website project checklist

## Start with the resources

Read the website design brief and brand guidance. Use the supplied logo files and retain their proportions. Keep font licences with redistributed font files, and record the resource-pack version used for the work.

## Plan useful pages

Organise services, local information, answers and contact options around visitor questions. Give each page a clear purpose and a relevant opening image. Keep the shared navigation, typography, spacing and enquiry controls consistent.

Use current business information and appropriately authorised photography. Do not create unsupported service-area, pricing, qualification or availability claims.

## Check the experience

- Read every page on phone, tablet and desktop screens.
- Check keyboard navigation, focus, contrast and image alternatives.
- Test page links, enquiry controls, validation and recovery.
- Confirm that download links deliver the intended file.
- Preserve useful existing URLs when a website changes.
- Keep privacy, refunds and terms information easy to find.

## Keep a clear handover

Provide the source assets, resource version, editing instructions and test evidence with the finished work. Use the quality standards as a checklist, not a promise of rankings or commercial results.
